On a sunny day in Kent, I had the pleasure of visiting the UK Electric Bike Centre for a self-guided winery tour. Despite arriving 30 minutes late due to traffic at Headcorn Aerodrome, the place was buzzing with excitement as bi-planes and old fighter planes took off. I was greeted by Marcus the owner who was super accommodating, who quickly resolved the mix-up with my booking. Within 20 minutes, we were on the bikes and ready for our tour.
What stood out to me was their commitment to safety. Helmets were mandatory, and they even had a test track where we had to complete a few laps before setting off. The center offers a variety of tours, each with a map and pictures of waypoints to guide you along the way. The map also highlights points of interest and recommended spots for food and drinks.
During our tour, we made a pit stop at a local pub (Bell & Jorrocks) that served delicious food. The pub owner was kind enough to offer tastings of the local ales, adding to the overall experience. The electric bikes were a game-changer, providing assistance on the uphill sections while still requiring some pedaling. It made the journey enjoyable for everyone, including my family.
I must commend the staff at the UK Electric Bike Centre for their exceptional customer service. Despite my booking errors, they handled the situation with grace and ensured we had a fantastic day out. The visit was topped off by watching the incredible planes take off and land at the airfield.
Overall, I rate my experience at the UK Electric Bike Centre with five stars. It's a must-visit destination for anyone looking for a memorable day out in Kent. Don't miss the opportunity to explore the beautiful countryside on their electric bikes and indulge in the local attractions.

Brilliant corporate team day out on electric bikes. Bikes were great, Marcus suggested places to stop off and provided us with maps plus tea and coffee on arrival. Superb service, can highly recommend, we'll be back.

We hired 2 e-bikes for a full day today and had a fantastic time. The route was really easy to follow as we were given a map and also images of the road. Easy to get to via Headcorn train station and a short bus journey and walk to the aerodrone. We will definitely be recommending to friends and family. Thanks so much Marcus and team!

Visited the UK Bike Centre on a demo day on May 14th and got to try out a number of bikes before my son settled on one he liked in his budget.
After a nice chat with Marcus, my son purchased the e-bike he wanted the following week and picked up the bike a day later.
Very happy with the excellent customer service.

We had the most incredible time hiring bikes with Marcus at the UK E-bike centre. Brilliant communication, a completely personalised service, great bikes which were clean, modern and easy to use. Marcus was so helpful and friendly, and knowledgeable about the local area - most importantly he had some excellent pub recommendations up his sleeve! The route he suggested was brilliant, we had so much fun and have recommended the day trip to many friends. Easy to reach from london for the day, would return in a heartbeat. Thank you Marcus for one of the best days yet of 2022!

We had a brilliant day out with a pair of Nova e bikes, hired out on a day package for my Birthday!
We were kitted out by Marcus at the aerodrome base, he was so friendly and enthusiastic and sent us on our way with a suggested route!
We went via the Balfour & Biddenden vineyards, and managed to squeeze in lunch at the three Chimenys, which was fab!
Would absolutely recommend Hiring some e bikes with Marcus for a fun day out :)

After having cardiac surgery and wanting to get back into cycling I decided to give ebikes a go. As UK Electric Bike Centre is relatively close we, I say we as my father (who's 82) came along with me to take a look. Warren gave me the opportunity to try out any bikes I wanted and discussed pros and cons and what best suited my requirements with no pressure to buy. I decided on the Oxygen s-cross and what a great choice, I get out on it any opportunity I can. So impressed was my father he purchased a Mycle folding bike, another great bike and he's also enjoying the ebike experience.
So for anyone interested I would highly recommend paying these guys a visit.
